Cash boost for badminton

Badminton South Africa has announced that they have allocated R100,000 to support players of colour to participate in sanctioned tournaments during 2011.

Mr Willie Joseph, Chairman of the Transformation and Development Committee, said that this is in line with our policy to create opportunities for young players of colour with potential in our provinces.

The players in question will receive equipment and financial support through their respective provinces.
