Sponsorship call for SA juniors

The South African Junior Championships are taking place at Cape Hunt and Polo Club in Durbanville from December 12-18. This is a huge equestrian festival with entrants from all across South Africa competing across disciplines including Showing, Dressage, Showjumping, Vaulting and Equitation.

It is the highlight of our Juniors’ showing year with the ultimate prize winners taking home the prestigious “Supreme South African Showing Champion” and the “Supreme South African Working Champion” awards.

Given that sponsors are the lifeblood of sport, a request has gone out from the equestrian fraternity for sponsors at this exciting competition with a monetary contribution of R500 per class. The class that you sponsor will be named after you or your company eg “Kuda Insurance Motors Junior Show Hack 1.63m and under” and this will be announced throughout the running of your particular class which goes on for approximately an hour. You are also invited to display any advertising material that is relevant at no extra charge for the duration of the show as well as erect a stand/gazebo displaying/selling your product for the duration. The programme for the show will include your name in the list of sponsors as well as at the heading of your chosen class.

The second category requiring sponsors for is the individual class South African Champions, for example, South African Champion Show Hack, South African Champion Working Riding, etc. The cost of sponsorship for these championships is R3,000 per category, a small amount indeed to have your company’s name associated with a South African champion! The above benefits will apply as well as the opportunity to insert a quarter page advertisement into the Junior Champs 2009 programme at no additional cost.

Two Supreme South African champions will receive blankets for their horses, and sponsors for these at R5,000 each are requested. The South African championship will then be named after the sponsor and the blanket will be made in the sponsor’s corporate colours with their name embroidered on the blanket. Competitors tend to use these blankets on an ongoing basis into the future and therefore your coverage will be ongoing. The other benefits listed above for class and class championship sponsorship will also apply.
